RaChelle's obsession (well, one of them)

If you know me, you know that I LOVE to take pictures. I have my camera with me at almost all times and when I don't have my camera...I wish I did. I take pictures of everything! I have lately gotten more and more into improving my photography. This spring with a little of our tax return money, I got my first "big girl" camera. And I'm loving it. Well, to be honest it has been a learning process. For some reason I had in my mind that if I got a great camera then I would automatically have great pictures. It wasn't quite so. Don't get me wrong. It does take great pictures, but I was hoping for AMAZING. I humbled myself and got to studying. I have read everything that I can find online about photography and have watched all kinds of youtube instructional videos. This has helped, but the main think I am finding is that I have to practice, practice, practice! AND, I am still learning. I'm still working for AMAZING.

I have started a blog with some of my "practicing". I have many friends that are happy to let me practice on them and I am more than happy to do it. I even made up a photography name...and I spent many, many days working on this....it is RaChelle Lee Photography. If you want to check out some of my stuff it is at www.RaChelle-Lee-Photography.blogspot.com . I had to add the hyphens in there because there is another RaChelle Lee Photography...can you believe it! After my days and days of trying to figure out a name...there is already one! I decided to go ahead and keep it (I suppose it goes with the old saying that if you can have something then you want it even more.) I just added the hyphens to the blogspot site. Feel free to check it out sometime. My pictures, my new love, my obsession.
