The Oregon Coast
One of my very favorite places in the world is the Oregon Coast. It has been almost 4 years since we have been there and I have been longing to get back there. We had a little bit of bad news when we found out that Danny had lost his job. We knew that we were in for a rough road ahead and felt like we needed to take a little bit of family time before all our job searching. We wanted to take a little family trip. Danny has never had a week off before. We had time now, just not much money. We knew that it had to be cheap, so we planned on camping. I mapped out many different places that we could go, heading east and stopping and state parks and interpretive centers, heading north, or heading west. When I thought about heading west I knew were I wanted to go...The Coast! It would definately be the longest trip out of the ones I planned out, but in my opinion the best plan. I have been longing to see the ocean again. All the beautiful greenery, the winding roads with views of the ocean, and of coures... THE OCEAN! I couldn't wait to go to sleep listening to the the lighthouse and ocean. So I got online and found some of the very last camping sites along the coast. And we were set! I found 3 nights in Newport and had to find another spot for the other nights. After looking around I decided on Tillamook. We haven't really spent much time there so this would be a fun and new experience. Here are some of our pictures...
