4th of July Fun!

Each year on the 4th of July we like to go out to Christensen's Pond. The Christensen's are some long time family friends and they've made a really cool fishing hole out on their property. This year my mom & dad, my sister & her boys and 2 of my brother's were all out of town for the 4th and we thought we might not hold our annual swimming party. Just at the last minute, my brother Nick invited us to still go out and swim. It was a little chilly for July, but we still had lots of fun. We ended up spending more time in the canoes and less time in the water though!

After all the fun at the pond we headed to Boise for an independence day celebration at RaChelle's sister Jaci's home. We had a fun picnic and fireworks. RaChelle's sister Rebecca made these fun 4th of July treats!

We had so much fun with our family! Spending time with our family is the best way to celebrate the holidays!
